Societa` Vegetariana

Ci sono state tre trasmissioni televisive in cui si è parlato  di alimentazione vegetariana e danni della carne. A parlare sono medici, nutrizionisti.
E` stato ridotta la durata delle trasmissioni a 10′, mettendo poi i filmati sul sito di societa` vegetariana e su You Tube

Facciamo la spesa in Piazza Carlo Giuliani

MERCOLEDI’ 9 DICEMBRE 2009, ORE 21.00 – presso la sede del Comitato Piazza Carlo Giuliani – si terra’ l’incontro pubblico dal titolo “FACCIAMO LA SPESA”.
Sono stato contattato per raccontare l’esperienza del WIKIGAS. Chiedo a chi fa parte di un GAS e ha voglia di dire la sua, di unirsi a me in modo da portare diverse voci e diverse esperienze. Il Centro ha sede in via Monticelli 25 rosso (civico 9) a Genova – Marassi.

VCV – SCI Serbia and GAIA group are looking for
participants interested in climate change and
sustainable living in relation to peace! 8-day-long international seminar
“YOUTH FACING THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES FOR SUSTAINABLE AND PEACEFUL FUTURE”
Serbia (Sremski Karlovci) – 8th till 15th of February 2010

AIM & TOPICS
The aim of this seminar is primarily to learn,
exchange knowledge and experiences on topic that
relates to climate change and its connection to
peace and social justice, empowering and
connecting organizations from SCI with other
interested organizations.  Besides that, the last
part of the seminar will be dedicated to
development of new ideas, projects, actions etc,
which will be realized in the framework of GAIA
group. Since we will be close to National Park
Fruska Gora, one of the tasks will be to have fun and enjoy nature.

The main topics of the seminar are:
·      sustainable lifestyle, ecological footprint and culture of peace
·      climate change and biodiversity
·      climate change and its influence to
humanity (conflicts, migrations), climate justice, environmental ethics
·      the role of youth, their initiatives and
future dealing with climate change topics
·      climate politics (UNFCCC Negotiations, The
Bali Road Map and the Copenhagen outcomes)
·      examples of good practice and voluntary
projects as tool for reducing environmental impact and raising awareness
·      planning of the future projects, ideas and
actions related to these topics.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
No specific participation fee is request.
You need to be a member of SCI Italia (for the year 2010).
70% of all the travel cost will be reimbursed.

HOW TO APPLY!?
If you want to learn more about these topics,
share your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm,
and to develop some new ideas which you will
implement back in your branch/organization, we
encourage you to join this particular seminar.
There are no special requirements related to
previous experience or knowledge, but only high
interest in learning about climate change, social
justice… and strong motivation and enthusiasm for
getting more involved in these topics back home or in GAIA.
